On KWAM 990 in Memphis
The Memphis TEA Party launched a live radio program can be heard on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays on KWAM 990 in Memphis. The show, “The Memphis TEA Party Live! – For God and Country”, explores issues related to the TEA Party movement as well as current political events. Host, Mark A. Skoda who is also Chairman of The Memphis TEA Party, provides an informative and entertaining talk and call in format for the show. With discussions of both a secular and Christian worldview, The Memphis TEA Party Live! show allows for a varied and exciting approach to current political events.
Mark A. Skoda, a Shelby County resident and host of The Memphis Tea Party Live! show, stated, “The TEA Party movement has begun to influence public debate and awakened the great middle of America. We will cover issues from the founding of our country to the future of legislative efforts and government’s responsibility to its people. With a local flavor, we will try to enliven that debate, provide interesting guests and establish provocative debate of political issues facing the country.”
The Memphis TEA Party Live! show began broadcasting on KWAM 990 on the AM dial, August 29, 2009 and is heard on Mondays and Thursdays from 8:00AM~9:00AM and Saturday evenings from 5:00PM~6:00PM.
